Artist, teacher, award-winning program developer, Elyssa Wortzman, uses a conceptual/spiritual approach to explore the nexus point of tradition and contemporary reality (www.elyssawortzman.com ). Wortzman is a Fellow of the Jewish Art Salon (NY) and 2013 artist-in-residence and scholarship recipient at ArtKibbutz and The Nathan Cummings Foundation. Her work has been exhibited in Toronto, San Francisco and New York. She has an honors Art History degree from McGill University and has studied art in France with Ilse Hughes and Jean-Claude Roy.
