Originally from Samara, Russia, Zhanna has been drawing and painting since childhood. She studied art in the art school and received a BS in Architecture from the Samara State University of Architecture and Engineering.
Life paths led her to California and to work in a completely different field, but Zhanna’s love for art and creativity was always within her. She started to draw and paint again around 2019 after a long break.
Since 2021 Zhanna has been juried into multiple shows at Las Laguna Art Gallery, Mt Si Artist Guild, Red Bluff Art Gallery, San Rafael Library & Recreation Dept. Falkirk Open Juried Exhibits, KBM Art Gallery LLC and SFWA Artists Gallery.
Zhanna loves to experiment with mediums and colors, and often mixes different techniques. It gives her art more life.
As an artist Zhanna wants to help people see the beauty of simple things around us. To see more than just an object in it, to see the connections with your life and with feelings and emotions that can be awakened through art.
