Having moved to California from India in her early twenties, Shubhra was captivated by the natural beauty, charm and traditions of her new home. However, working in the Tech Industry as a Hardware Engineer left her little time to pause and take it in. Vacations became the means to relax and enjoy and explore the world. Once her children started college, she wanted to feel more fulfilled. She found the greatest satisfaction in painting, a childhood pastime which she had left behind. She enrolled and completed her Masters in Fine Arts, from Academy of Art University. She found a way to blend her hobby of traveling with art. She paints from her travels abroad as well as scenes from San Francisco.
