Kate Razo

Kate Razo is a Bay Area based painter and artist.

I’m a self-taught painter, maker/creative.

I dream ideas, passing images and new configurations of ancient times past and present. There is more than what meets the eye.

I work in both oils and acrylic, working the surfaces to a desired outcome. I prefer to use handmade, hand stretched canvases and wooden surfaces, constructed often of found materials.

I have recently discovered the joys of watercolors and screen printing.

I believe that we are vessels for ideas. We need to think quietly and listen.
