My work is a constant search for the best way to interpret my environment and my current moods. I do not limit myself to one medium, style or concept. My ideas and inspirations are constantly evolving. I consider my work to be whimsical, fun, and mostly joyful. My goal is to elicit happiness in others. If I can do that then I have succeeded.

BIOGRAPHY
Marni Alyse Sloves is a self-taught San Mateo based contemporary abstract artist. After many years spent in the classroom teaching students with special needs, Marni realized that expressing her creative side is where her true passion lies. Originally creating one-of-a-kind pieces for her own home, Marni’s friends began commissioning paintings for their homes. She loves to work with bright, bold color palettes and various textures. She continually experiments with different mediums striving to create unique pieces.
